Participatory Approaches with Older Adults
Background
What is PAAR-Net?
PAAR-Net is a project funded by the EU, all about involving older adults in important conversations. Its full name is CA22167: Participatory Approaches with Older Adults. This project brings together older adults, experts, and researchers. They work on methods on how to meaningfully involve older adults in research, policy, and practice regarding issues that affect older people.
Why is PAAR-Net important?
Many times, older adults aren’t included enough in research, policy making and practice. Especially those who feel left out. PAAR-Net wants to change that. By including older adults in research, policy-making, and practice, we can make sure that the solutions we come up with actually work for them. This is important because it promotes fairness and helps create a better world for everyone.

How does PAAR-Net make a difference?
By involving older adults in every step of the process, PAAR-Net helps create solutions that really work. This means fairer policies and a better quality of life for older adults everywhere. PAAR-Net is all about making sure no one is left behind and building a future where everyone’s voice counts.
