PAAR-Net Second Training School: Final Agenda Announced

We are pleased to announce that the Second PAAR-Net Training School for Young Researchers and Innovators will take place from March 31 – April 2, 2025, at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This year’s Training School will focus on Participatory Co-Creation Methods, offering an in-depth exploration of how participatory processes can be effectively developed and implemented. “Participatory co-creation” refers to actively involving older adults in research, projects, policies, or product development, ensuring that their voices and perspectives are integrated into decision-making.
Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools, techniques, and frameworks used in participatory research. The sessions will include interactive exercises, case studies, and discussions to enhance skills in collaboration, engagement, and co-creation processes with older adult communities.
The program will feature leading experts in the field, including distinguished academics and practitioners from across Europe. Sessions will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Ethical considerations in participatory research,
  • Engaging older adults in co-creation processes,
  • Digital literacy and participation of older adults,
  • Interactive exercises on participatory approaches with informal caregivers,
  • Hands-on workshops and case studies.

This event presents an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers, doctoral students, and innovators interested in participatory research with older adults to develop new skills, exchange ideas, and build international networks.
We look forward to welcoming all participants to Vilnius in March 2025 for an engaging and dynamic learning experience!
